Who knew there was a club scene in Astoria? Well, unless you love world techno music and a heavily packed crowd, it’s probably not the ideal place for you. But this club has a lot to offer in other ways. The bartenders are decent and the decor is hip, laid-back and conducive for mingling. Situated in the front, the club has a large lounge area painted black with cozy plush velvet couches. Behind the velvet curtain, there is a large bar with nice, clean tables and chairs and a second level for private parties. Towards the rear of the club it opens up to an enclosed patio with couches, private canopies and another bar- very romantic, very attractive. There are mostly young 20 somethings dressed to the nines. If this is your scene, you’ll have a blast, but beware of loads of attitude from the packed crowd and dance at your own risk!
Central is overrated!
