Queens of Pain- Ouch!

Gotham Girls roller derby team will hold their double-header game at Hunters College Saturday October 24th doors open at 6:30pm. The Queens of Pain (from Queens!) and the Brooklyn Bombshells will be facing-off against the Sockit Wenches of Seattle. The event will include a Bicycle Polo demonstration at half-time, a Halloween costume contest and an after party at Manitoba’s. For tix and general info call (888) 830-2253.

Queens County Farm- Halloween Haunted House Oct 24th, 25th, 31st 4-7pm

Hayrides, Halloween treats, mulled cider, pumpkins and apples will be sold! The house is recommended for children ages 4–12. Adults will find it creepy too!
Admission: $4.00
Hayrides: $2.00 per person

Socrates Sculpture Park will host the annual Halloween Harvest Festival Sunday Oct 25th 11am-2pm featuring the Canine Costume Contest 12pm, concert with Audra Rox 1pm, and a theater performance of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

LIC- New York Knife & Fork posts a new restaurant opening on Vernon Boulevard and it’s called El-Ay-Si (pronounced LIC) They will feature pre-opening tastings on Friday October 23rd, and Saturday October 24th.
