Hello,
I’m writing to follow up on my last email. I’m a co-founder of Coovents.com, NYC’s most useful happy hour service. My team and I are expanding Coovents to include other hyper-local events.
One of our new features will allow you to take our events and put them on your site. Your readers will stay on your site so you will generate new pageviews. Also, we have built-in social features so people can share these events, which will attract new readers.
Please let me know if you’re interested.
Talk soon,
Greg

I’m born and raised in Queens, a longtime Astoria resident (over 10 yrs now)
Being a hometown girl, I thought you guys might be interested in a project I’m developing where I write and record one song a week for a year – I’m on week 8 and it’s all up here:
http://www.theweeklysong.com
I am booked to play quarterly shows at Hellgate Social in Astoria to showcase the songs I’ve written in that quarter – with lots of special Queens guests (Ms. Angela Bowers of Cudzoo and the Fagettes and Hugo Nowhere of just about everything are just a couple I’ve enlisted so far.)
The first show is scheduled for Thursday, 9/24.
Would love it if you guys could cover this in ur kick-ass blog. It’s kind of a homegrown project, steeped in Queensness.
thanx for listening to me shamelessly self-promote.

I check ur stuff often.

Jamie
