I thought I would tell you a little about Community Environmental Center in Long Island City. We are a nonprofit dedicated to helping small businesses, home owners and owners of residential buildings, and institutional building go green — we consult and contract for cellulose insulation, solar thermal installations, local law compliance, LEED. Anything that has to do with helping New Yorkers live and work green.

I’d like to let Queens businesses know that we will be at the Long Island City Partnership Trade Show on November 16. We’ll have a booth. So if any of your readers are interested in learning how to make their business greener and more energy efficient, we would be delighted to talk with them.
